Department of Management, Bengaluru Campus Celebrates Dandiya Night ‘16

The Department of Management at Bengaluru campus, which believes in unity in diversity, organized a “Dandiya Night Celebration” on October 7th, 2016. The fun-filled event started with the brief description of Navratri given by Vyshak Shaji, student from class of 2015-2017. The event continued with the playing different team games such as Eiffel Tower, Timed Balloon Blowing, Three Legged race, etc., and games displayed the team unity of the students.

Following the games, it was time for the main function to begin. As it is said that every auspicious occasion should begin with blessings of God, the AMRITIANS followed the trend by performing Puja and Aarti of Goddess Durga and Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma). Afterward, with the blessings of God, all danced their hearts out to traditional and remix Garba and Dandiya songs, forgetting religious and regional diversities. The event ended with delicious dinner provided by the department. The event showed true Indian spirit and everyone displayed the belief of Chancellor Amma, who says “Love is my Only Religion”.
