In the 49^th Kerala State Dental Conference at Kottayam during January 21-22, 2017, two PG trainees from Amrita School of Dentistry won the first prize in the Scientific Paper Presentation category. 

1. Dr. Pallavi Menon (1^st year PG, Dept of Periodontics) won the prize for her paper titled, “Oral Inflammatory Load and Immunostat – A Neoteric Concept in Periodontal Disease Progression”. 
2. Dr. Parvathy R. (1^styear PG, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology & Microbiology) won the prize for her paper titled, ” Clear Cell Tumors of Jaws – Approaches for an Appropriate Diagnosis”.
