CSI Communications Magazine Showcases Articles by Amrita Research Scholars

The articles authored by Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi, are featured in the November and December 2017 issues of CSI Communications magazine of Computer Society of India (CSI). 

The research work titled “Fuzzy Based Machine Learning: A Promising Approach” authored by Ms. Sujamol S. (Research Scholar), Ms. Sreeja Ashok (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science) and Mr. U. Krishna Kumar (Director) of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi, was featured in the November 2017 issue of CSI Communications under the category, ‘Research Front’.

Machine Learning in Advanced Python” authored by Ms. Suchithra M. S. (Research Scholar) and Ms. Maya L. Pai (Head, Department of Mathematics) of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi, was showcased as the ‘Technical Trend’ in the December 2017 issue of CSI Communications. 

Both Ms. Sujamol S. and Ms. Suchitra M. S. have just commenced their doctoral programme at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and are working on research in data mining and machine learning under the supervision of Ms. Sreeja Ashok, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi and Ms. Maya L. Pai, Head, Department of Mathematics, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi, respectively. 

The Computer Society of India (CSI) Communications is the national journal & magazine of CSI. It has a circulation of 151,000 all over India and abroad. Computer Society of India Communications (CSIC) is a good avenue for start-up research publishing and provides aspiring researchers an opportunity to reach out to the Computer Science and Engineering community. Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore is the current editor of CSI communications. Earlier, CSI Communications had showcased Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s research innovations such as MedSimA-VIEW and Virtual Labs in its past issues in 2017.
