A National Convention on Higher Education, Jnana Sangama 2016, was conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka on 27th and 28th of May 2016 at Bangalore.
As the keynote speaker, Prof. Kamal Bijlani, Director, Amrita E-Learning Research Lab, delivered a talk on “A-VIEW: Transforming Education with Large-Scale Online Blended Learning”. The E-Learning A-VIEW team has signed MOU with Logitech; A-VIEW was demonstrated working on Logitech equipment at the Logitech stall. Several Vice-Chancellors visited the stall and expressed their interest in using A-VIEW for their institutions.
Shri. T. B. Jayachandra, Minister of Higher Education (Govt. of Karnataka) and Shri. Kadiyam Srihari, Minister for Education (Govt. of Telangana) were the Chief Guests. Many Vice Chancellors from institutions across Indiapresented their views about Higher Education.
