Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, celebrated its Graduation day on 23rd September, 2017. Madhuri Thathachari, Philanthropist and Managing Trustee, Bhramara Trust, Mr. Randeep D., Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru District, Prof. E. M. Vijay, Human Development Partner of Fortune 500 Companies and Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, were the guests. Prof. Vijay E. Menon, IAS, IPS and IFS Training Panelist, was also present at the event.
Mr. Randeep D., addressed the gathering and enlightened the graduates about the various modes of challenges in life after they step out from the college. Smt. Madhuri Thathachari explained the importance of humility in youngster’s attitude as they are the future of the world.
Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri delivered the benedictory address where he expressed that Universe itself is University where everything can be learnt only by possessing the beginner’s attitude to be successful in life and blessed the graduates.
The campus bagged 4 gold and 5 Silver medals with 13 ranks. In total, 242 students, both PG and UG, received their degrees during the graduationceremony. An alumni meet followed the graduation day celebrations. More than 150 alumni members participated and exchanged goodwill.
