Dr. Chithra M. R., Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, participated and made a paper presentation at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2018) held at Rio, Brazil, from August 1-9, 2018.

Dr. Chithra presented a paper titled “Secure Denomination in Some Networks.” The research paper is from the area of graph theory. She has got International Mathematician Union (IMU) funding to be present in Rio.

Apart from Dr. Chithra., five young women mathematicians from Kerala, all assistant professors in various colleges attended the international congress.
