AICD support group at AIMS offers such patients a forum to discuss their problems among themselves, physicians and social workers. AIMS have performed about 250 AICD implants since 1998. AIMS offers specialized follow up and 24 hours emergency helpline services of these patients. With the recent availability of 3D mapping facilities it forms an integral part of patient management.

AICD recipients have medical, psychological and emotional issues throughout their lives. The support group ensures a forum to discuss their problems among themselves, physicians and social workers thereby creating an opportunity for improving morale and well being of these otherwise dependent patients.
