Bio

Dr. Ramesh N. V. currently serves as Principal-in-Charge and Professor in the department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda. He pursued his undergraduate degree BAMS from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore University in 1991 with first class. He graduated BAMS(1 ½ Years) – Training Course in Emergency Medicine (T. C. E. M.) from Bangalore University in 1997. Dr. Ramesh pursued his postgraduate degree MD in Bhaishajya Kalpana from A. L. N. Rao Ayurveda Medical College Koppa of R. G. U. H. S. Karnataka in 2004. He worked as Lecturer and Assistant Professor & Senior Physician at A. L. N. Rao Ayurveda Medical College Koppa, Karnataka from 1992-1993 and 1997- 2005 respectively. He also worked as Medical Officer at Rajashekar Hospital, Bangalore, from 1995-1997.

Dr. Ramesh worked as Lecturer, Associate Professor with additional responsibility of R. M. O and Deputy Medical Superintendent in Amrita School of Ayurveda since 2005 and presently serves as Professor in the department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana. Have more than 24 years of professional and 19 years of teaching experience including 3 years of PG teaching, Dr. Ramesh is a recognized PG Guide and UG & PG Examiner of various universities. He is a member of Postgraduate Programme Committee of Amrita School of Ayurveda.
