Shakti-Women in computing workshop was conducted on February 23, 2018, by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, in association with ACM student chapter and was collocated with Anokha 2018 – The Annual Tech Fest of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, India.
It was a two-day workshop series comprising of four workshops with industry participation. The workshop was organised by Dr. C. K..Shyamala and Ms. Bindu K. R., ACM student chapter faculty sponsor. Niharika, Aiswarya, Yasaswi and Sweekar were the student volunteers for this series of the workshop. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Latha Parameswaran, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus.
