Abstract : The evolution of public transportation system to-wards efficiency, sustainability, and safety has given rise to the concept of smart bus transportation. This approach made us to use advanced technologies like RFID sensor, Infrared (IR) sensors, and fuel leakage detection systems to enhance the functioning of buses in both urban and rural environments. This paper explores the integration of these cutting-edge technologies within smart bus transportation systems, aiming to enhance passenger experience, optimize fleet management, and contribute to environmental preservation. We delve into the functionalities and benefits of each technology, emphasizing their collective impact on creating a seamless, intelligent, and eco-friendly bus transportation network. By analysing real-world implementations and case studies, this paper sheds light on the transformative potential of RFID, IR sensors, and fuel detection systems in shaping the future of smart bus transportation.
