The first Multi-Scale Brain Function India-Italy Network of Excellence (#MSBFIINE) workshop was organised by University of Milan’s Prof. Giovanni Naldi and Dr. Thierry Nieus along with Amrita Mind Brain Center’s Dr. Shyam Diwakar and Indian colleagues, Prof. Srinivasa Chakravarthy of IIT Madras and Prof. Mohan Raghavan, IIT Hyderabad, was held December 9, 2022 at Villa Monastero, Varenna, Italy.

Dr. Shyam Diwakar joined Prof. Naldi in introducing the project partners from the 6 universities in India and Italy and delivered the first scientific talk on modelling fMRI BOLD signals in the brain from a bottom-up approach at the event.

Other Indian partners gave talks at the event. Around 30 participants attended in person and in remote at this first India-Italy event of the MSBFIINE project.
