Dr. Pavithra Celeste R currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. She joined Amrita in July 2021 as Assistant Professor in the department.

Dr. Pavithra Celeste R received her MSc. Mathematics degree from National Institute of Technology Calicut in 2015 and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram in 2022 for her research titled ‘Some Classes of Probability Distributions Governed from Phase-type Random Variables’. She has also qualified for CSIR-UGC JRF/NET in 2015. Her research interests include Probability Theory, Distribution Theory, Stochastic Processes and Graph Theory.
