Centre for Digital Health : AIMS intends to be a leader in imparting state of the art healthcare education to learners at all levels of training and wishes to attract the best students and faculty to our institution. In pursuit of this goal, AIMS has established an Institute of Medical Informatics and Multimedia Education (IMIME), which will be a center of excellence for the provision of multidisciplinary medical education of an international standard. It will focus on improving patient care at the bedside by a judicious combination of enhancing basic and advanced clinical skills, procedural aptitude, development of electronic medical records and the use of point-of-care decision support modalities.

Center for Digital Earth is inaugurated on 02.01.06 by Dr. Satish Tripathi, Provost, SUNY, Buffalo, USA. CDE mainly focuses on research, development and deployment of wireless and sensor network solutions to enable the information communication across the globe. Special emphasis is given to Rural India so that the majority of the Indian population will be embraced by the inevitable information invasion.

CDE closely work with CDH (Center for Digital Health, situated at AIMS, Kochi, headed by Dr. Ajith Babu) to make Tele-education, Tele-medicine, Satellite based information dissemination in the areas of agricultural services, weather forecast, disaster warning and mitigation a reality.

Center for Research in Cyber Security : The objectives of the CORE is to attract and foster a core group of Computing and Data Security experts who systematically and exhaustively disseminate knowledge and its application in the ever-expanding frontiers of Computing and Data Security, develop and advance the state-of-the-art in secure data handling, trustworthy storage and interchange, verifiable authentication and certification, through a proactive industry-enabled systems research and development agenda and to protect industries and organizations, which are increasingly dependent on online information and IT enabled services, by transforming their key IT personnel into security aware and security-trained professionals through innovative curricula.
