Eligibility criteria for admission: graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. (Those appearing for final year degree exam are also eligible to apply.)
Desired qualification includes experience as a volunteer.

Selection shall be based on
• personal interview,
• the candidates’ motivation to study MSW programme at Amrita and
• academic achievements

Application procedure: obtain a demand draft from a bank for Rs.350/-favouring “Amrita Vishwa vidya peetham” payable at coimbatore and download application form from www.amrita.edu/msw and send the completed application along with the Draft, or obtain the form in person from the Admission Coordinator ,amrita Vishwa vidya peetham by submitting the DD ,or get application by post by writing to Admission coordinator, Amrita Vishwa vidya peetham ,Ettimadai(P.O),Coimbatore- 641105 along with the draft.

Send the completed application on or before 31st may 2008 to any of the campuses
