Arizona State University Faculty Meets Amrita PIs (June 24, 2009)
Collaborative efforts between Amrita and Arizona State University took a step forward this past week when Dr. Kanav Kahol from the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Arizona's School of Engineering came for Amma's darshan in Los Angeles. Following darshan, Dr. Kahol met with Vice Chancellor, Dr. P.Venkat Rangan, Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan and Ms. Bhavani Bijlani, PIs of two of Amrita's MHRD-funded projects.

Dr. Vallath Nandakumar visited Sweden (April 17-24, 2009). Dr. Nandakumar attended the ICPC World Finals held on Stockholm and met with Dr. Rajeev Thottappillil (Professor, Electromagnetic Engineering, KTH School of Electrical Engineering), Dr. Karl-Henrik Johansson (Professor and Director, Royal Institute of Technology) and Dr. Sasikumar Punnekkat (Professor, Malardalen University, Sweden) and Warren MacEvoy ( ICPC Regional Contest Director from Mesa State University).
