Bio

Dr. Bhaskar B. L. is currently serving as the Head of the Department and Selection Grade Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus. He has more than 12 years of experience in teaching and 5 years of experience in industries. He has more than 18 publications to his credit. He has also obtained a Post Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore during 2006-07. His research interests include Analytical Method Development, Computational Drug Development, Analytical Chemistry, etc.

Research Interest

Our work in pharmaceutical analysis involves the development of novel methods for drug quality control, identification of impurities, and formulation analysis. Analytical method development and validation are critical processes in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and to identify and quantify impurities. They provide confidence that the analytical methods used for quality control are accurate, precise, and capable of detecting and quantifying impurities, which is essential for regulatory compliance and patient safety.
