GREEN CHANNEL ADMISSIONS
Over the last few years, B-Schools all over India have been observing a distinct trend of IT professionals taking a sabbatical from work and moving into class rooms to gain an MBA degree. This academic value-add gives them a distinct leg up in ascending the corporate ladder. Amrita School of Business also has been getting such lateral students in the last couple of years. This year we plan to formalize their entry by allocating a fixed quota of seats for students who come to us from corporate.
Admission Criteria
Candidates can apply through the Green Channel if:

» They have minimum of 24 months of work experience in IT / ITeS industry
» The experience should be in companies having 100 crore INR revenue turnover or more
» Candidates should mandatorily attach their workex certificates with duration clearly attested for their application to be considered as a Green Channel entry
» Along with every application form, a Green channel sticker is provided. Please stick the same in the return envelope [in the space provided] to facilitate independent processing of Green Channel applicants
» There will be separate interview panels for Green Channel candidates. This panel would comprise of academicians as well as professionals from IT industry.
» Green channel interviews will be conducted in Bangalore and Chennai only for this year. Dates and venue will be intimated in due course.
» A valid current CAT score is mandatory for Green Channel candidates also. However, it may be noted that significant additional weightage will be given to the number of years of their work experience. |
