Corporate and International Relations (CIR)
CIR, one of the important centres of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, provides the students of the university with the best career opportunities by closely interacting with many of the corporate giants in India. As a result of the sincere efforts of CCR, on an average about 80 odd potential recruiters from all over India have been consistently visiting our campus for the last few years for inducting the young talents of this university to their corporate world. CCR has been instrumental in facilitating these recruiters in conducting Pre-Placement Talks, Aptitude & Technical tests, Group Discussion and Interviews.
CIR maintains a close rapport with various industrial firms for organising and coordinating industrial visits, in-plant training and projects for the students.
CIR also organises training programmes for the development of each and every student of Amrita Schools of Arts and Sciences in areas beyond academics, with a view to equipping them with the required skills that are indispensable in the corporate scenario. To achieve this end, CCR has developed in-house training programmes in the field of Aptitude training (which includes speed maths, logical reasoning, verbal & analytical skills) and Soft Skill development programmes to inculcate interpersonal skills, espirit-de-corps, group discussion skills, communication skills and personal interview techniques. The entire training programme is being carried out during the academic session itself.
Also, training sessions are being organised to prepare the students to face competitive exams like CAT, MCA Entrance etc. Training programme conducted at CIR covers the requirement of campus placement.
Placement and Internship
Excellent coverage and Individual attention are privileges earned at the Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Mysore which moulds a professional from a novice. Therefore, the industry always prefers a graduate from Amrita School, over others. For the right candidate there is always the right job waiting through our Placement office and Corporate an International Relations (CIR).
Training in soft skills is part of all the courses in various disciplines. The School Placement Services are also coordinated centrally through the Corporate an International Relations (CIR) at the university headquarters at Ettimadai.
In-campus training for CAT/MAT Examination, MCA Entrance Test, Bank Officer/Clerical jobs and Corporate Recruitment are provided through professional trainers.
