Amrita School of Arts and Sciences provides hostel for boys and girls. College also provides transportation facility for day scholars coming from Mysore city and suburbs.

In addition to the regular academic programmes, the School also has professional expertise in various domain areas of Database, Client- Server and Visual Programming Tools, Java, J2EE, .NET, E-Commerce, Networking, Finance and Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, Soft Skills and short term courses in Red Hat Linux (RHCE), CISCO Networking (CCNA), NGO Management and Tally 9 ERP offered by Tally solution pvt.Ltd.

AMRITA SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES, Mysore was established on 10th November 2006. Prior to the formal induction into the ambit of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in 2006, the institute was affiliated to Mysore University under the name 'Amrita Mahavidhyalaya'.  Under the guidance of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, the institution has proved its credibility in imparting value based professional academic, career and industry oriented training.

A dedicated group of Brahmacharis, academic subject experts and faculties inspired by AMMA's call for selfless service, form the core of the school faculty. "Work is a Worship, an offering to the Divine", is AMMA's foreword to Her children at Amrita, and adherence to the same has set the standard of Amrita schools high above others.
