Call for PhD Forum
A "PhD Forum on Wireless Technologies for Humanitarian Relief" is planned to be held during the International Conference on Wireless Technologies for Humanitarian Relief (ACWR'11), December 18-21, 2011 at the Amrita University, India. The indicative, but not the exhaustive list of the topics relevant to the theme of the conference is available here. The main objective of this forum is to provide a common platform for the doctoral students that pursue research in these fields of science and technology across the globe. We solicit extended abstracts (EAs) comprising a brief outline of their research accomplishments to date, the work in progress and the course of the research planned for the future.
The Forum will provide a channel for PhD students to interact with their global peers and experienced researchers and experts from academia, research institutions and the corporate world in the field of wireless communication technologies applied to humanitarian relief. It will be a platform over which the recent developments are presented and the new ideas on the unfolding research and the thoughts on the prospective research directions are churned out.
Extended Abstract should be submitted at
