Considering the need and the challenges to meet the requirement of imparting high quality education in the field of Visual Media and Communication, the department has a State of Art Studio. Audio-video editing process is supported with high end software. The studio is equipped with Sony-4K cameras, high-end Mac system for production with high quality audio-video interface.
A separate audio-booth equipped with Rode microphones supported by high end systems for audio recording including high end software for editing and recording and high interface audio recording.
Digital photography using DSLR camera and multipoint lighting provision is available in the studio. Lights and equipments needed for practising professional photography like advertising photography, fashion photography, food photography, product photography, portraits, and headshots are available.
The post production workspace has high-end workstations for 3D animation, visual effects, compositing and colour correction.
The main studio consists of multipoint cool lights with a dedicated digital dimmer control. The studio also has provision for high quality Chroma-key process. The studio is equipped with Sony-4K cameras, high-end Mac system for production with high quality audio-video interface.
Exclusive Visual Media Lab has been specially dedicated for the purpose of training Visual Communication students.

Computer Labs at the school are equipped with advanced and sophisticated network computing environment with State of Art Technology. Over 280 desktop systems are networked over fast Ethernet and Wireless LAN using switches and routers with high-speed internet connectivity installed with advanced programming tools and multimedia features.

Digitally rich student experience can be obtained through audio and visual teaching aids provided in the classroom. Teaching pedagogy can be efficiently maintained with practical ideas and strategies through ICT enabled classroom.
Along with its focus on academics, the school encourages students in sports and games. Regular coaching is provided to students for different games making it possible for them to get selected and participate in South Zone Inter-University level. A multipurpose gym is setup to train students in powerlifting and weightlifting.
The school extends the hostel facility to outstation students providing a secure, calm, and homely atmosphere. Campus hostel has two separate blocks for boys and girls accommodating around 750 students with hot water supplied to all blocks with the support and loving care of resident wardens both in boys and girls hostel.
It is a multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 1200 members which forms a venue for events like annual day celebrations, fests, and other programs conducted in the campus.
AUMS – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Management System, an online data-cum-resource management software is used at Amrita to maintain student, staff, and resource records resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy in routine processes. It includes modules on admission, administration, academics, accounts, examination, library, and others.
